In celebration of Spirit Week, students and faculty competed in a volleyball game after school, Tuesday. The intense game resulted in a score of 2-1 in favor of the students.

Although falling behind in the second set, the students made a comeback and won the game. Despite the loss, teachers, as well as students, described the game as an exciting and fun event in anticipation for Homecoming.

“We wanted an event to kick off, something that would involve everyone, and I think we accomplished that,” Howard Noel stated.

“The game was hilarious, intense, and competitive, it made me want to play volleyball,” said Lenni Do, a spectator of the game.

While at the game, students were able to both watch and enjoy the fun themselves as they witnessed students battle teachers. After the students’ victory, each player got a donut has a reward for their hard work.
