The Pioneers failed to move the ball on offense and could not stop Jones from scoring  This was true for both the first quarter and the three quarters played on a later day.

It marked the third lost in the season for Oak Ridge.

To summarize the first quarter, Jones scored two straight touchdowns with little to no effort. New Pioneer quarterback Malik Davis did throw some key zip passes on offense, One almost led to a TD. This Oak Ridge would never come close to scoring after that. The score at the end of the quarter was 13-0.

The second quarter was much of the same, but it got even worse for the Pioneers. The Tigers continued to push the offense, scoring touchdowns left and right, continuously diminishing the hopes of an Oak Ridge win. There were more passes by Davis, but nothing that could spark a comeback. At the end of the half, it was 34-0.

The rest of the game simulated earlier quarters. Oak Ridge just couldn’t keep up with the Tigers offense.
