The senior class of the Junior Achievement Academy plans to glamorously camp for their senior trip from March 20-23 at the Westgate River Ranch Resort and Rodeo in River Ranch.

The resort is an authentic Florida dude ranch offering a Saturday night rodeo, fishing, horseback riding and zip-lining. It’s located south of Orlando in Polk County on 1,700 acres overlooking the Kissimmee River. The camp was renovated in October 2013.

Students will stay in stylish tents. Each consists of at least two beds for groups of students.

“I am looking forward to making lasting memories with my fellow classmates of 2017,” said senior Dayjah Lee.

A total of 15 students will be attending the trip for their spring break vacation.

“It’ll be a great opportunity for seniors to hang out together,” said JA coordinator Lauren Boyd, “and their last opportunity before finals and graduation. ”

Students will be departing from campus around 2 p.m on March 20 and are expected to arrive at the resort at around 4 p.m.
