After four years of torment Adele has finally released her new album 25. It is no surprise Adele would reach a record breaking status especially with much previous success on the 2011 album 21.

The album welcomes you with “Hello” and begins with the beautiful ballads of the voice we have all been patiently waiting to hear. As the song progresses you hear the sense of the classic ex talk but only you do not listen to the heartache that has been caused by someone else, Adele’s turning tables in 25.

Throughout the wonderful melodies and rich lyrics it becomes easier to differentiate 21 and 25, where 21 reminisces heartbreak and pain, 25 brings a taste of maturity and understanding like new songs “Water Under the Bridge” and “When We Were Young.”

Not only did the morals of the songs change but this album brings a newer, refreshing sound to the current pop tunes. Adele’s vocals sound more pure and natural than before and compared to most popular artists nowadays, and the instrumentals sound magnificent as if you too were in the recording studio.

Adele has reached #1 in iTunes charts and has sold over 3 million copies within the first week, beating record holders such as Beyonce, Taylor Swift, and iconic 90’s boy band N’SYNC and has only just begun.
