Taylor Swift’s new album “1989” was released on October 27, 2014, cultivating a million copies sold in the first week and making it the best-selling album of 2014.

Upon first hearing the album, I was in my sister’s car and all of a sudden she turns on “Bad Blood” one of Swift’s more popular songs and my personal favorite and I instantly fell in love.

I downloaded the whole album right then and I have to say, Swift has really done it again. It’s amazing how all her songs can resonate with me on every level. She really puts all her heart and soul into each song and you feel as if she’s talking right to you and telling you she understands what you’re going through.

I had qualms about first listening to this new album after “Shake it Off” became just a tad over-exposed but trust me. It’s worth it and anyone who thinks it’s just gonna be another album full of her trashing her exes and talking crap, think again. It’s bigger and better this time around.

Last year was a bit rough for Swift with all the significant media attention and the bashing about her and Harry Styles, she deserves this win and she’s earned it. This album will change you.

Not to mention, for all her adoring fans she’s created an app giving them a live interactive experience in the dream world of her music video for “Blank Space”. Available in the App Store and Google Play. Go buy “1989” on iTunes now.
